Leslie Gray brings to GrowthPort Partners over 30 years of diverse experience in senior corporate human resources management and consulting, organizational and leadership development, employee benefits, risk management and entrepreneurial experience. Prior to co-founding GrowthPort Partners, Inc., Leslie’s management experience began with a twelve year career as Director of Human Resources for a Southern-California based law firm.
Leslie leads the firm’s practice areas in compliance, change leadership and management, strategic planning and group facilitation. Leslie’s command of human dynamics in a variety of industries makes her a specialist in the area of effective, empathetic and productive facilitation methodology and team building. Clients invite Leslie back annually to enlist her assistance in strategy and accountability sessions as well as identifying and grooming future leaders from within organizations.
Leslie is regularly retained by expert witness referral sources, to examine and opine as an expert witness in the areas of wage and hour, harassment and discrimination, employee benefits and policy interpretation. In addition, Leslie conducts investigations under the direction of GrowthPort Partners’ internal employment counsel, P. Anthony Burnham, Esq., into sexual harassment, disparate treatment, reasonable accommodation, privacy violations and wrongful terminations for its client base as well as other California employers.
Leslie is a sought after public speaker having founded Women of Substance in 2017. Leslie’s inspirational words and wisdom provide encouragement to women in business focusing on authenticity and resilience, overcoming a variety of challenges including chronic medical conditions and children with disabilities.
Leslie is an active member of the California Association of Workplace Investigators and holds multiple state professional licenses in life and disability insurance since 1990, all of which remain active and in good standing. Leslie attended the University of Pittsburgh and is also a certified Paralegal. She is a former member of the Board of the Orange County Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
