Amy Ransons – GrowthPort Partners, Inc.


Amy began her career with GrowthPort Partners, Inc. in 2009, as an Executive Assistant to the Principals during Spring and Summer breaks from High School and during breaks while a student at Chapman University. Amy’s love for learning, and the work to which she was being exposed, namely human resources consulting and employee benefits sales and administration, incentivized her to complete a formal Internship with GrowthPort Partners, Inc. for which Chapman University recognized and attributed to her graduation requirements.

Upon graduating from Chapman University in May, 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies, Amy began working full time on the GPP team. Amy devotes her time to compliance audits, researching a variety of operational challenges fielded from our clients and assessing and updating Employee Handbooks for those clients. One can find Amy conducting Open Enrollment meetings with our Employee Benefits Division Executive, Leslie Gray and coordinating Biometric Screenings with any one of the 35 insurance carriers with whom we place business on behalf of our clientele.

Amy benefits daily from the mentoring she receives from our internal employment counsel, P. Anthony “Tony” Burnham, Esq., CEO and Senior Human Resources, Employee Benefits Specialist and Risk Management Strategist, Leslie Gray, and other senior Human Resources professionals on our team. Amy also expects to become a licensed Life and Health agent in July, 2016, so as to better assist in the sales and servicing aspect of the employee benefits facet of the firm’s practice.
